You asked, we listened! We’re thrilled to bring you the Behind the Bricks: The Official Guided Tour at Battersea Power Station, a tour of one of London’s most iconic landmarks.

Taking place once a week, you will get the chance to learn all about the Power Station’s fascinating history and enjoy exclusive access to the beautifully restored Art Deco masterpiece, Control Room A. Control Room A is the first of the Grade II* listed building’s two original Control Rooms which managed the distribution of electricity across London from the early 1930s.

From the 1930s to 1980s, Battersea Power Station was a working Power Station. At its peak, the Power Station was supplying a fifth of London's power, supplying electricity to some of London’s most recognisable landmarks, such as the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. After decades of sitting derelict, it is now open to the public as one of London's most exciting and innovative new riverside destinations. Discover more about the Power Station’s heritage here.

Why not make a day of it and book tickets to the chimney lift experience at Lift 109, enjoy a cocktail or two surrounded by the original 1950s dials and control desks in Control Room B, a bite to eat at one of our many cafes and restaurants or enjoy a spot of shopping?

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Battersea Power Station generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Battersea Power Station, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.

Please note that payment on your bank statement will appear as 'Ethos Farm' who are the managing agent, on behalf of Battersea Power Station
The tours last approximately 60-75 minutes, with walking and standing throughout
The tour is both inside and outside the Power Station so please come dressed appropriately for the weather
The tour is open to all persons over the age of 16; children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Most of the tour route is fully accessible; if you have accessibility needs, please let us know at the time of booking
Accessible toilets, baby change and changing place facilities are available inside Battersea Power Station
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
